Lorene E. Wilkins, 98

Lorene  E.  Wilkins,  98,  of  Grangeville  died  Sunday,  at  her  home  in
Grangeville.

She  was  born  July 20 1906, at Spokane, Wash., a daughter of George W. and
Lila  J.  Rapp Wilkin. She attended school in Grangeville and graduated from
Grangeville  High  School in 1923. She then attended Lewiston Normal School.
She  taught  school in local Camas Prairie schools before moving to Seattle.
She  moved  to  Hawaii where she worked as a medical secretary for 20 years.
She  then  moved to Palo Alto, Calif., where she started her own real estate
company. She retired and moved to Grangeville.
