William Joseph Sprute, 60

William  Joseph  Sprute,  60,  died of an apparent heart attack while moving
haying equipment early Wednesday morning, July 15, 2004.

 He  as  born  to  Louis H. and Alice M. Lightfield Sprute Aug. 11, 1944, at
Cottonwood.  He  grew  up  on the family farm southwest of Cottonwood in the
Keuterville  area.  He  attended  the  one-room  Pine View Elementary School
taught  by his mother until the school was consolidated into Keuterville. He
graduated  from  St.  Gertrude's  Academy  High  School in 1962 and from the
University of Idaho in 1966.
