Born on May 1, 1957 in Jersey City, NJ, a son of Charles V. and Marion Miele Colello of Ladson, SC. He attended schools of New Jersey. He was owner and operator of Colello Trucking Company. He attended Immaculate Conception Church, Goose Creek. Surviving are his parents of Ladson; one son, Richard Colello, Jr. of Ladson; one daughter, Maryann Colello of Ladson; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles J. and Deborah Colello of Summerville; two nieces, two nephews and two great-nephews.
