TITLE: Richer Dean Crosby Matthews SOURCE: The Post and Courier, May 18, 2001 SUBMITTED: The Post and Couirer FORMATTED: Kim Grissom, May 2001 *********************************************************************** Ms. Richer Dean Crosby Matthews, of Nashville and formerly of Allendale, died Wednesday evening in the Good Samaritan Rehabilitation Center in Nashville after an extended illness. She was 54. Ms. Matthews was born in Hampton, January 5, 1947, a daughter of the late Herbert Edgar Crosby and Clarence Gooding Crosby. She was formerly a seamstress with Davan Manufacturing in Allendale, and had attended the First Baptist Church of Fairfax. Survivors include, one son, James Paul Kinard, of Nashville; one brother, Bobby Joe Crosby, of Nashville; two sisters, Myrtle Ann Benton and Alice Faye Altman, both of Fairfax. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11 a.m. in the Rivers Cemetery in Brunson.
