He was born July 28, 1914, in Ehrhardt, S.C., the son of the late Eddie P. Kinard and the late Lilla Copeland Kinard. He was a member of Ehrhardt Baptist Church and a retired farmer. He was a veteran of W.W.II and a survivor of Pearl Harbor. He was a member of the American Legion and the Woodmen of the World. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 22, 2001, at 3 p.m., at COONER FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, Bamberg, S.C. Burial in Ehrhardt Cemetery, Ehrhardt, S.C. Survivors include four nieces and seven nephews. Memorials may be made to Edisto Convalescent Center, Activity Dept ., 575 Stonewall Jackson SW, Orangeburg, S.C. 29115.
