Drose, Sr., 75, widower of Frances Irene Hutson Drose of Wando, S.C., died Sunday, June 3, 2001, at his residence. The relatives and friends of Charles F. Drose, Sr., are invited to attend his funeral services, Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at the graveside, Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, at 10 a.m. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock. Mr. Drose was born in Charleston, S.C., a son of John Henry Drose, Jr., and Eulalie Wille Drose. He was retired from Charleston and Sumter A.F.B. Railroad. He is survived by his children, Charles F. Drose, Jr., of Mount Pleasant, S.C., Dianna Christine Burmester of Evans, Ga., five grandchildren, Patricia Drose, Leslie Drose, both of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Seleste Lewis, Meghan Burmester, Chase Burmester, all of Newnan, Ga., three sisters, Eulalie Campbell of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Ruth Campbell of Awendaw, S.C., Margaret Dawdy of Johns Island, S.C., one brother, Edwin Drose of Evans, Ga.
