Born on November 1, 1926, in Dorchester County, S.C., a daughter of the late Gordon Wesley Winter and Susie Catherine Winter. She attended Dorchester County schools. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Lydia Baptist Church. Surviving are, husband, Robert Lee Ilderton, Jr.; loving companion, Joseph Lanford, Summerville; three sons and daughters -in-law, Steve and Linda Ilderton of Swansea, Lee and Brenda Ilderton of Summerville, David and Gina Ilderton of Pleasant Garden, N.C.; three daughters and sons-in-la, Linda and Aaron Martin of Randleman, N.C., Dot and Bobby Chauncey of Beech Island, S.C., Teresa and Randy Humphreys of Liberty, N.C.; 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; two brothers, Tommy Winter of California, William Winter of Cottageville; two sisters, Susie Smith of Ladson, Ginny Gouin of Mississippi.
