Hugh Thomas Beasley, 46, of Charleston, husband of Mary Lou Moss 
Beasley, died Wednesday, July 27, 2001, in Greenwood, S.C. Mr. Beasley 
was born September 28, 1954, in Widbey Island, Washington State, a son 
of the late James Wiley Beasley and Laura Jackson Beasley. He attended 
the University of South Carolina, was a lab courier with the Medical 
University of South Carolina, a member of John Wesley United Methodist 
Church and was a member of the Piney Grove Hunt Club in Hodges, S.C. 
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 30, 2001, in 
John Wesley United Methodist Church, Savannah Hwy. Burial will be in 
Bethany Cemetery. Visitors may call at MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 
DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 150 Wentworth St., 722-8371, Sunday, between the 
hours of 5 and 7 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Moss Beasley
, one daughter, Laura Michelle Beasley, both of Charleston, S.C., one 
brother, Frederick Charles Beasley of Charleston, one Victoria Beasley 
Hudson of Hendersonville, N.C., and his grandfather, Hugh Alton Beasley
of Greenwood, S.C. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis 
Foundation, Carolinas Chapter, 5019 Nations Crossing, Suite 217 
Charlotte, N.C. 28217, or the American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road,
