TITLE: Albert E. Hertz SOURCE: The Charleston Daily Times, January 29, 1867 SUBMITTED BY: Kim Grissom FORMATTED BY: Kim Grissom, Apr 2001 *********************************************************************** Died, in Jacksonville, Fla., on Tuesday, the fifteenth day of January, 1867, Albert E. Hertz, in the fortieth year of his age, a native of Charleston, SC, but for the last ten years a resident of Flordia. Although for many years an acute sufferer, yet, with an abiding faithin the Providence of God, and an indomitable will, his brief pilgrimage was devoted to the happiness of those dearly connected with him, and the relief of his fellow-beings. His affectionate and bereaved wife and children have consolation that he has been freed from physical pain, and his soul is with the Great Omnipotent, in the enjoyment of eternal bliss. "As the bird to its sheltering nest, When the storm on the hills is abroad, So his spirit hath flown from this world of unrest, To repose on the bosom of God." *********************************************************************** NOTICE: Printing the files within by non-commercial individuals and libraries is encouraged, as long as all notices and submitter information is included.
