Brown, 79 DOVER - Eloise F. Brown of Dover died Monday, March 24, 2003, in her home. She was 79. Mrs. Brown was born in Greensboro, Md., daughter of the late Clifford Shulties and Lola Edwards Shul-ties. She was a homemaker and worked hard raising her family. She also spent time working for the Capital School District at Towne Point Elementary School, in the cafeteria for 10 years. She even drove a school bus for several years. Mrs. Brown was a mother to everybody. She enjoyed cooking, and always had more than enough food on the table to feed everyone. Often times there were enough leftovers to last several days. She also enjoyed canning and freezing food. She kept three full size freezers well stocked and never empty for long. Nobody was a stranger to Mrs. Brown. She enjoyed the company not only of her family, and especially her grandchildren, but also her close friends. She looked forward to the fellowship and the time spent with her family and friends. She will be remembered as a hard working mother, grandmother and wife. Mrs. Brown attended Trinity Wesleyan Church of Dover, and was a former attendee of Pilgrim Holiness Church of Harrington. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Melvin L. Brown of Dover; two sons, Lee and Cliff Brown, both of Dover; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sharon Moran of Dover and Darlene and Douglas Bare of Dover; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. 'Bill' Bye of Dover died Monday, March 24, 2003, in Silver Lake Center. He was 82. Mr. Bye was born Dec. 19, 1920, in Pennsylvania, son of the late David H. and Bella Mae Hollowell Bye. He was a self-employed carpenter in Pennsylvania and Delaware for several years. Mr. Bye enjoyed horse racing, antiques and hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred and Warren Bye. He is survived by a son, William J. Bye of Pennsylvania; two daughters and a son-in-law, Brenda B. Clark of Lincoln died Sunday, March 23, 2003, in Milford Center, Milford. He was 86. Mr. Clark was born in Sussex County, son of the late Clyde and Flossie (Dickerson) Clark. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a salesman and plant manager for Burris Food Services in Milford. Mr. Clark attended Ellendale United Methodist Church and was a member of the American Legion post in Milford. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth K. (Bailey) Clark; two stepsons and two stepdaughters-in-law, Harland Richard Graef and Marguerite "Peggy" Graef of North East, Md., and Theodore Donald Graef and Marie Graef of Salisbury, Md.; two nephews, Eugene Clark and Ronnie Clark; a niece, Judy Moore; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Evans of Bridgeville died Thursday, March 20, 2003, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital, Milford. He was 84. Mr. Evans was born Sept. 16, 1919, in Greenwood. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Evans was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Bridgeville, where he was a lay leader, member of the trustee board and a chairman of the board's finance committee. He is survived by his wife, Jamesie Evans of Bridgeville; a son, James Evans Jr. of Millsboro; three sis-ters, Eretheia Evans, Bessie Holland and Martha Knox, all of Bridgeville; and a sister-in-law, J. "Willie" Farrell Jr. of Milford died Friday, March 21, 2003, in his home. He was 55. Mr. Farrell was born in Washington, D.C., son of Natalie Clayton Farrell, now of Melbourne, Fla., and the late William H. Farrell Sr. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in Vietnam in 1967. Mr. Farrell was a musician for more than 30 years, touring the United States with The Hubcaps and more recently with Kathie Martin and the Hot Rods. He was Willie the bass player, whose characters in-cluded the tough guy with a heart of gold and teen angel. He became disabled and retired from performing in 2000. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kathleen Farrell of Milford; a son, William H. Farrell III, and daughter, Colleen M. Farrell, both of Milford; three brothers, Roger Farrell and Mark Farrell, both of Waldorf, Md., and Dean Farrell of Wilbraham, Mass.; and three sisters, Linda Poe of Melbourne, Martha Wilcher of Bryans Road, Md., and Jean Solensky of Pensacola, Fla. Moore of Smyrna died Monday, March 24, 2003, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospi-tal, Dover. He was 89. Mr. Moore was born Dec. 16, 1913, in Dover, son of the late Abraham and Mary Ellen Hollowell Moore. He was a foreman in the shipping department of Tyler Refrigeration in Smyrna for more than 30 years before retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending Spence's Bazaar and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Moore was an honorary member of Citizens Hose Co. No. 1 in Smyrna. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Moore; and a sister, Edna Wooters. She was 84. Mrs. Taylor was born July 24, 1918, near Houston, daughter of the late John Henry "Harry" Moore and Minnie Wheeler Moore. She graduated from Harrington High School in 1937 and from Milford Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1943. Mrs. Taylor worked for a short while as a nurse at Milford Memorial Hospital in the operating room, and also did private duty until starting her family. She loved her flowers and garden and crocheting, and enjoyed sitting watching the birds. Mrs. Taylor was a member of First Baptist Church in Milford, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Moore; and her husband, Harlan F. Taylor, in 1985. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Harlene and Dennis Bradley of Greenwood; a son and daughter-in-law, Arley F. and Margaret Taylor of Greenwood; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Arch W. and Irma Moore of Greenwood and J. After 21 years in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force serving his country, preserving our freedom in Korea and two tours of duty in Vietnam, he moved to Delaware with his family. After his military career, he worked in the circulation department of the Delaware State News, retiring in 1994. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John I. Jr. and Kara R. Way of Camden; three daughters and a son-in-law, Elizabeth A. "Lizzy" Way Arrazola of West Palm Beach, Fla., Karen B. She was 73. Mrs. Wright was born April 30, 1929, in Chester, Pa., and grew up in Claymont. She was retired from the position of housekeeper and cook for the rectory of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Seaford. She was a loving wife and devoted mother who will be missed dearly. Mrs. Wright was a longtime member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. At church, she was in-volved with the ladies guild and the Legion of Mary, and was a song leader. She also was a member of the auxiliary of the American Legion Post 93 in Pocomoke City, Md., for 36 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, George, in December 2000. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, George Wright Jr. and Patricia Wright of Seaford; a daugh-ter and son-in-law, Terry Ann and Roger Reed of Milford; a sister, Marion Rowan of Newark; and a brother, Joseph Burns of Claymont.
