Kenneth Goggett. Pallbearers will be Bob Lapier, Harold Griggs, Charles Byrant, Charles Mathis, J. F. Kelly and John D. McNew. Burial will be at 1:30 PM at McNew Cemetery at Centerville (Yell County). Survivors not previously mentioned are 39 grandchildren and 73 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. She was born in Mount Vernon, daughter of the late Henry and Lenora Keathley. She was the widow of Eli Gentry. Survivors are nieces Edith Moring and Ann Mayor, both of Conway, several other nieces and nephews, two sisters-in-law, and a great niece. Private memorials service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at McNew Cemetery near Greenbrier. Arrangements are by Wilson Fuenral Home in England. [My uncle - son of Elbert James Keathley.] ------------------------------------ Arkansas Democrat, Little Rock, AR, Thursday, 18 Apr 1974, page 12B Ronnie Darrell Keathley, Little Rock resident, 17, dies of wound Ronnie Darrell Keathley, 17, of Apt F-6, 8723 Baseline Road died Wednesday of a gunshot wound, the police said. James R. Harris and Raymond J. Hunter, Keathley's roommates, told the police that Keathley was talking with them about noon when he put one bullet in a .22 caliber pistol. Keathley then spun the cylinder and pointed the gun to his head, according to Capt. W. D. Gibson. Keathley pulled the trigger and the gun fired, Gibson said. The shot struck in the left side of the head and he was dead on arrival at University Hospital. Keathley was employed at a Truck Stop. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Tinnim Keathley of Missouri; his father Elbert Keathley of Little Rock; his mother, Mrs. Ruth Holmes of Jacksonville; 2 brothers; Bobby Keathley of Jacksonville and Buddy Keathley of California; and 10 sisters, Mrs. Sybil Green, Miss Katrina Clark and Misses Terry, Tanga, and Nyanna Keathley all of Jacksonville, Mrs. Doris Cecil of Kentucky, Mrs. Patsy Kirsch of California, Mrs. Tiny Cade of Colorado, Mrs. Shirley Hill of Humphrey and Mrs. Lenora Easterling of North Little Rock.
