Leslie Funeral services for Mrs. Clara E. Leslie, 81, Helena will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rosary will be at the chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Father Earl Booth will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetary in Helena. Mrs. Leslie died Sunday at the Baptist Central Hospital in Memphis. She was a retired employee of Helena Sportswear and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She is survived by five sons, Lawrence and Terry Leslie, both of Helena, Elton Leslie of Benton, Joe Leslie of Michigan City, Indiana and John Leslie of Walls,Miss.; seven daughters, Fredia Horne of Farmington N.M., Wanda Queen of Pasadena, Md., Bonnie Stewart of Chapman ,Kansas, Joyce Malenky of Southaven,Miss.,Geneil Norman of Searcy, Lavern Hall of Wynne and Mary Sue Chenoweth of Eufaula,Ala.; one brother, Curt Hardesty of Derby, Indiana; one sister, Mary Odom of Blytheville; 41 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Eugene Leslie, Norris Horne, Mike Malenky, Clark Leslie,John Ray Leslie and Harry Lee Chenoweth.
