JOHNSTON Funeral service for Mrs. Minnie Johnston of Elaine, was conducted Sat. by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home at the Elaine Baptist Church. The Rev. Harold Danley and Rev. Reg Fowler officiated. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park. Mrs. Johnston, 86, died Oct. 26, 2000, at Helena Reigional Medical Center. She was a native of Tuscumbi, Alabama. Survivors include her husband, Robert Johnston of Elaine; four sons, James Robert Johnston, Jr. of Memphis, Jerry Mack Johnston of Elaine, David Francis Johnston of Calif., Wiliam Michael Johnston of Florida; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Johnston was preceded in death by her parents, James Dorthuia Johnsto; a son, Thomas Edward Johnston, and a brother, James Harvey McMillan. Pallbearers were Billy Johnston, L. R. Holt, Kenneth Parker, Tony Silva, Billy McMillan, William Flowers, Johnny Johnston and Larry Johnston. Honorary pallbearers were Arlis Strawn, Charles Ray Griffith, James Knight and James McMillan. McGOUGH Funeral service for Mr. Jewel McGough of West Helena was conducted Fri. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena. The Rev. Don Lewert officiated. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park. Mr. McGough, 70, died Oct. 26, 2000 at his home in West Helena. Survivors include his wife, Tolise McGough of West Helena; a son, Ronald McGough of West Helena; and a daughter, Patrice Mitchell of West Helena; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Brother Mark Spencer officiated. Arrangements were under direction of Bob Neal & Sons-Brickell Funeral Home of Marvell. Mr. Gschwend, 66, died Oct. 27, 2000 at Veterans Hospital in Memphis. He was a native of Hicks, a retired carpenter and served in the Army and Navy Reserves. Survivors include three sons, John Gschwend and Randy Gschwend, both of Marvell; and Lenny Ray Gschwend of Jonesboro; a step-daughter, Mrs. Vicky Berryman of Monticello; four sisters, Mrs. Cynthia Russell, Mrs. Dorothy Moore, and Mrs. Earline Aycock, all of Marvell; and Katie Gschwend of Marvell; and nine grandchildren. Pallbearers were Johnny Gschwend, D.J. Howell, Dale Gerlach, David Bartlett, Gene Davison, and Ronny Crowder. DONALD LIVINGSTON Graveside servcie for Donald Livingston of Poplar Grove was conducted Wed. morning at Central Cemetery. The Rev. Billy Metcalf officiated. Arrangements were under direction of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Mr. Livingston, 60, died Thurs. at Beverly Health Care in West Memphis. He was a truck driver employed by ITT Transport, a native of Barton, and a National Guard veteran. Survivors include five sons, Jeff Livingston of West Helena, Dennis Long of Harrison, and Todd Livingston, Todd Livingston,***(my note: did he have 2 sons named Todd or was one named Dodd???) and Timothy Livingston, all of Horn Lake, Miss.; his mother, Mrs. Gladys Livingston of Walls, Miss.; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Marsh and Mrs. Joyce Adams, both of Walls; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. MARY LOUISE COX Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Louise Cox of Heth, Arkansas was conducted Wed. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. burial was in Crittenden Memorial Park. Mrs. Cox, 87, died Oct. 30, 2000 in Marion. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Cox Meiers of West Helena; and four brothers, Raymond Cox, William H. Cox, and James A. Cox, all of Heth, and Paul J. Cos of Springfield, Missouri. MRS. HELEN RUESEWALD Funeral service for Mrs. Helen M. Ruesewald of Helena was conducted Fri. afternoon at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Audie Richardson and the Rev. WQayne Evans officiated. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park. Mrs. Ruesewald, 67, died Tues. at St. Vincent’s Infirmary in Little Rock. She was a licensed practice nurse at Helena Regional Medical Center and was a homemaker. She was a member of the "New Beginnings" Pentecostal Church in West Helena and a native of Scott, Ark. Survivors include her husband, Henry Ruesewald of Helena; two daughters, Mrs. Lyn Toney of Helena and Mrs. Melanie Kummer of Lexa; four sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Holt of Perryville, Mrs. Sylva Murray of North Little Rock, Mrs. Edith Holland of Rover, Ark. and Mrs. Louise Hoff of Chicago; a brother, Wilder Bradsher of Plainview, Ark.; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Herbert Jones, Buster Holland, Otis Howe, Steve Groves, Jack Wildberger, Rob Johnson, Doyle Chadwick, and Stan Nickols. Honorary pallbearers were Jim Howe and Dr. Patrick Bell. ROBERT G. DODDY CASON, TEXAS-- Robert George Doddy, 56, of Cason, TX., died Mon., Dec. 4, 2000. Born Aug. 28, 1944, to Joseph and Mattie Doddy, he was predeceased by four brothers, H. D. Doddy, George Doddy, Leon Doddy and J. D. Doddy; and three sisters, Maureen Walters, Queenee Lawson and Vivene Traylor. Survivors include two daughters, Angela Doddy of Hooks, TX., and Carol Doddy Johnson of Hot Springs; one son, Benjamin Royal of Daingerfield, TX.; two stepsons, Larry Royal and Barry Royal, both of Daingerfield; two brothers, Cecil Jean Doddy and Orange William Doddy, both of Cason; three sisters, Ester Traylor and Lillian Newsom, both of Cason, and Doris Britton of Dallas; five grandchildren, William Doddy, Chelsea Doddy, Aaron Doddy, Brandon Johnson and Brock Johnson; nieces and nephews.
