Alexander, 83, who died Saturday afternoon, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Texarkana Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. C. C. Ussery and the Rev. Horace Grigson, Jr., officiating. Burial was in the Silverino Cemetery. Mr. Alexander was a retired contractor. He had lived in Texarkana for 60 years. He was a member of the Baptist church. Surviving are a son, A. D. Alexander of Texarkana; a half-brother, Ike Moody of Corsicana, Texas; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. ************************************************************************
