She died April 8, 1996, in Melbourne. She was 58. Mrs. Gillihan was united in marriage to Paul Junior Gillihan June 4, 1956, in Calico Rock. To this union two children were born. Mrs. Gillihan was a member of the Redbud EHC Club and a faithful member of the Twin Creek Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, of the home; one daughter, Beverly Gillihan Dew of Bethesda; one son, Ronald Junior Gillihan of Melbourne; three sisters, Maxine Lynn of Mountain Home; Melba Gillihan and Marilyn Smith of Calico Rock; three brothers, Noel, Johnny, and Jimmy Burgess, all of Calico Rock; and six grandchildren. Services were held April 10 at the Church of Christ in Melbourne with Brother Ralph Wallis officiating. Pallbearers were Jason Loggains, Tim Vest, Gene McSpadden, Donald Gillihan, Ronald Moser, and Chuck Mynatt. Honorary Pallbearers were Paul Gillihan and John Ross. Interment was at the Combs Cemetery in Melbourne under the direction of Howard Funeral Home in Melbourne. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
