DODDY *************** CASON, TEXAS-- Robert George Doddy, 56, of Cason, TX., died Mon., Dec. 4, 2000. Born Aug. 28, 1944, to Joseph and Mattie Doddy, he was predeceased by four brothers, H. D. Doddy, George Doddy, Leon Doddy and J. D. Doddy; and three sisters, Maureen Walters, Queenee Lawson and Vivene Traylor. Survivors include two daughters, Angela Doddy of Hooks, TX., and Carol Doddy Johnson of Hot Springs; one son, Benjamin Royal of Daingerfield, TX.; two stepsons, Larry Royal and Barry Royal, both of Daingerfield; two brothers, Cecil Jean Doddy and Orange William Doddy, both of Cason; three sisters, Ester Traylor and Lillian Newsom, both of Cason, and Doris Britton of Dallas; five grandchildren, William Doddy, Chelsea Doddy, Aaron Doddy, Brandon Johnson and Brock Johnson; nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Shady Grove Christian Church, Cason. Visitation will be today. Arrangements are by Harmon Funeral Home, Daingerfield. Arrangements will be anno8unced by Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. DONALD R. HANKEN **************** HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- Donald R. Hanken, 71, of Hot Springs Village died Tues., Dec. 5, 2000, in a local hospital. Born March 10, 1929, at Chicago to Henry and Lillian Vanderlinden Hanken, he was a member of Faith L8utheran Church and Gideons International. He was predeceased by two brothers, George Hanken and Ralph Hanken, and one sister, Henrietta McNicholas. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Hanken of Hot Springs Village; two sons and one duaghter-in-law, Robert and Margaret Hanken of Scottsdale, Ariz., and James Hanken of Humboldt, Ill.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Robert Nelson of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, and Mabel and Marcelo Giralda of Santiago, Chile; three sisters, and one brother-in-law, Ruth Hagen of Oak Forest, Ill., Helen and Fred Schnoor of Hemet, Calif., and Francis Ravetto of Hinsdale, Ill.; and six grandchildren. Serives will be 1 p.m. Sat. at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Leslie Weerts officiating. The body will be cremated. WILLIAMS with a picture ***************** BISMARCK-- Katie Mae Williams, 98, of Bismarck died Wed., Dec. 6, 2000, in a Little Rock hospital. Born Jan. 25, 1902, in Lambert to Jim and Mary P. Shuffield Newman, she was a housewife and member of Unity Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Newt Jefferson Williams; two daughters, Virgie Cook and Kathy Williams; three brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include three sons, Henry Williams of Little Rock, Joe Williams of Hot Springs and Ted Williams of Hacienda Heights, Calif.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Sat. at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home chapel, Arkadelphia. Pallbearers will be Matthew Williams, Joey Williams, Cody Williams, Loyd Smith, Bernie Allen, Don Sanders, Doug Green and Carron Wilson. Burial will be in Forrest Hill Cemetery.
