She is the daughter of the late James Frank Edwards and Lucille Skipper Edwards Nahlen. Born August 15, 1925, in Little Rock, she married F.D. Warren December 2, 1945. She attended Hendrix College. She was secretary-treasurer of First United Methodist Church of Conway. She was also secretary for Hendrix College. She was a member of Gussie Scales Sunday School Class, Ruth-Mitchell Circle, First United Methodist Church of Conway and NSDAR. Suvivors include: her husband-F.D.Warren of Conway, three daughters and son-in-laws-Gloria and George Hill of Alken, SC; Beth and Carl Collins of North Little Rock; Judy and David Standfill of Bryant; a son and daughter-in-law-Frank and Pam Warren of Hot Springs; a sister-Francille Edwards Turbyfill of North Little Rock; and 6 grandchildren. There will be a private family graveside service 10 a.m. Monday at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Conway, officiated by Dr. Joel Cooper and Rev. Jon Guthrie. The family will be at #4 Randolh Place, Conway. ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT - GAZETTE Friday, May 10, 1996 Little Rock, AR Conway-Foss Dowell Warren, Jr., 74, of Conway died Wednesday, May 8, 1996, at the VA Hopsital. He was the son of the late Foss Dowell Warren Sr. and Margaret Babbitt Warren. Born Feb. 7, 1922, in Little Rock, he married Gloria Jean Edwards Dec. 2, 1945. He was a 1940 graduate of North Little Rock High School. He was a Pearl Habor survivor. He was the owner of Warren's Freezer Locker and was in sales at Robert L. Ott Insurance. He was a member of Methodist Men and the Matt Ellis Sunday school class at First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Warren. Survivors include his son, Frank Warren of Hot Springs; his daughters, Gloria Hill of Aiken, SC and Beth Collins of Sherwood and Judy Standfill of Bryant; his sister, Bonita Holloway of North Little Rock; his brother, Roy Warren of Heber Springs; and six grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Conway. The Rev. Philip Hathcock will officiate. Arrangements by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway. THE LOG CABIN DEMOCRAT October 16, 1952 Conway, AR, Arkansas Weekly Mrs. Lucille Allison, 46, daughter of a Conway couple and wife of a former Conway man, Eugene H. Allison, died at Roosevelt Hospital in New York City late Saturday. Mrs. Allison underwent an operation last Tuesday. The body is being returned to Conway and will reach Little Rock late tonight. Funeral will be conducted at McNutt's Funeral Home at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow. Mrs. Allison was born at Mist, Ashley County, Ark., Sept. 9, 1906, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Edwards, now of Conway. She was graduated from former Central College here in 1926 and went to New York the same year. Three years later she married Mr. Allison. The couple had two children, Robert Allison, a sophomore in Columbia University and Linda Allison, 4, of the home. The family home is 5101 Thirty-Ninth St., Long Island City, N.Y. Mrs. Allison was a Baptist. Also surviving are five sisters, Mrs. J.P.Gammell of Chicago, Mrs. Mary Stewart of New Orleans, Mrs. William H. Roth, of Searcy, Mrs. A. J. Meadors of Morrilton and Mrs. Alton R. Foster, Jr., of Great Bend, Kan., and four brothers, John W. Edwards of Batesville, Dr. Hugh R. Edwards of Searcy, Charles B. Edwards of Conway and Lt. James R. Edwards Jr., stationed in the Navy in the Philippines. The Rev. Othar Smith will officiate at services tomorrow and burial will be at Oak Grove cemetery. Dr. Edwards and Mrs. Roth flew to New York Friday and they returned by air today, being accompained by Linda Allison. Mr. Allison and his son are accompanying the body by train. Mr. Allison is a brother of Robert C. Allison of Conway. Pallbearers will be George W. Cummings, N. F. Bolling, Alvan Lynch, A.T. Harrison, Harvey T. Wilson and Thomas G. Wilson. THE LOG CABIN DEMOCRAT July 14, 1960 Conway, Arkansas Funeral was held at McNutt's Funeral Home Saturday afternoon for Lt. Robert Allison, 26, of New York City, who was killed in an automobile accident at Ramstein, Germany, June 25. The Rev. C. N. Guice officiated, assisted by the Rev. James H. Street. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery. Lt. Allison was a son of Eugene Allison of New York, formerly of Conway and the late Mrs. Lucille Edwards Allison. A sister, Linda Allison, of Beaumont, Tex, also survives. The body was accompanied to Conway from Dover Air Force Base by Lt. Richard Ward.
