               JAMES MONROE WALLER OBITUARY

        After a long and painful illness
        on the night of September 18th, Mr.
        James Waller, Sr., by the Providence
        of God, was called to his reward
        above.

        In the death of Uncle Jimmie,
        morality has lost one of its ablest
        advocates, society one of its best
        members, and the church one of her
        brightest lights.  His place will be
        hard to fill.  His heart and hand
        were ever open to relieve the dis-
        tressed. Truly, a good man has
        gone.  We sympathise with the
        children and friends, who are left to
        mourn his demise.
