Ora Fields Britt is my Mother, Jacqueline Britt Kirkpatrick Mrs. Ora Fields Britt of Taylor died Tuesday afternoon in a Springhill hospital at the age of 71. She was a longtime resident of Columbia County and a member of the First Baptist Church of Taylor. She is survived by her husband Robert Earl (Bob) Britt, two sons, Paul Dean Britt of Stamps, and Randall Britt of Taylor, seven daughters, Mrs. Daphine Cannon, Mrs. Imogene Young, Mrs. Bobbie Sue Miller and Mrs. Carolyn Glass all of Taylor, Mrs. Ernestine Burns and Dorrie Faye Gray both of Springhill, La., Mrs. Jacqueline Kirkpatrick of Carrollton, Texas, 23 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Taylor with the Rev. G. W. Endicott and the Rev. Joe Dickey officiating. Interment under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps will be in the Welcome cemetery ************************************************************************
