They were published Aug. 7, 2008. BETTY DOCKINS Betty DOCKINS, Corning, was born Feb. 4, 1944 in Centralia, IL daughter of Bennie D. and Mary Elizabeth COX MOOR. She died in Five Rivers Medical Center, Pocahontas, Monday, Aug. 4, 2008. She was 64. A registered nurse, retired from Five Rivers Medical Center, she was a member of Datto Baptist Church and certified member of Cherokee Nation Tahlequah Agency. July 5, 1952 she married Jesse Lendle DOCKINS, Sr. and he survives. Other survivors are one son Jesse Lendle DOCKING, Jr., Datto; one daughter Sheri ROBINSON, Pocahontas; one grandson Marcus EAGAN, Pocahontas; two step-children, Harold ROBINSON, Jr, Pocahontas and LaTosha ROBINSON, Conwasy; one brother Clint MOOR, St. Charles, MO; step-mother Blanche MOOR, St. Charles, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, 10:00 a.m. in Ermert Funeral Chapel with Mike CHADWICK officiating. Burial in Nelson Cemetery in Reyno. Visitation has been set for Thurs., Aug. 7 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. in ERMERT Funeral Home. RICHARD ERMERT, SR. Richard O. ERMERT, Sr., Corning, was born in Datto, Dec. 16, 1921, son of Francis Marion and Cora WILSON ERMERT. He died in The Meadows Health and Rehab in Corning, Wed. July 30, 2008. He was 86. A retired funeral home director and the owner and operator of ERMERT Funeral Home, he was a member of Corning First Baptist Church. A veteran of World War II, he was a 32nd Degree Mason, charter member of Family Medical Center, past school board member, past board member of Memorial Ins. Co. and licensed funeral director and embalmer for over 60 years. Nov. 3, 1950 he married the former Alice Jean THOMPSON and she survives. Other survivors are two sons, Rick (Rhonda) ERMERT, Corning, Clyde (Patty) ERMERT, Eureka Springs; three daughters Fran (Rodney) HOLDER, Bellevue, NE, Barbara (George) PATTERSON, Sunrise Beach, MO, Lana MASSANELLI, Little Rock; one sister Freda VESTER, Jerome, ID: 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Carl and Clyde ERMERT and sister Letha WILSON. Funeral services were Saturday Aug. 2, 2008 in ERMERT Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris DIXON officiating. Burial in Corning Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church building fund. BRYON BILL KILBREATH Bryon Bill KILBREATH, McDougal, was born June 1, 1929 in Crockett, son of the late William Bill and Adar NETTLES KILBREATH. He died in his home Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008. He was 79. December 1, 1948 he was united in marriage to Mary SCHEFFLER and she survives. Other survivors are one son, Danny (Theresa) KILBREATH, McDougal; grandaughter Kennie Rae WILLIAMS; grandson Marcus (Darla) KILBREATH; two great-granddaughters Madison WILLIAMS and Allison KILBREATH; one great-grandson Wesley KILBREATH; one brother Warner KILBREATH, McDougal; one sister Sylvia SHEPARD, McDougal; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Donna Kay KILBREATH; five brothers Scotty, Porter, Harold, Russell, Paul and Howard KILBREATH. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008 in HOGGARD and Sons Funeral Home in Piggott with Donald GRISSOM officiating. Burial in New Hope Cemetery. TIL McDOWELL Myrtilla "TIL" McDOWELL was born in Grandview, MO Oct. 5, 1929 daughter of Eddie Bryan and Anna Mae WOODS EDDINGTON. She died in Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, Paragould, Thurs. July 31, 2008. She was 78. A member of Calvary Baptist Church, she retired from Basler Electric where she was an assembly worker. Survivors are three sons John McDOWELL, Paragould, Jerry McDOWELL, North Little Rock, and Jim McDOWELL, Tulsa, OK.; one daughter Jennifer FARLEY, North Little Rock; three brothers Charlie EDDINGTON and Burton EDDINGTON both of Datto and Irvin EDDINGTON, Doniphan, MO; five sisters Juanita BLACKBURN, Jonesbobo, Virginia LOPEZ, St. Louis, MO, June SWAN, Datto, Barbara WHITE, Maynard and Brenda EDDINGTON, Datto; 9 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008 in Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Sunny WILLIAMS officiating. Burial in Corning Cemetery under the direction of ERMERT Funeral Home. LISA MONTANA Lisa Sue MONTANA, Malden, MO, formerly of Piggott, was born Nov. 29, 1963, daughter of William and Katie BILLINGS. She died Wed. July 23, 2008 in General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, MO. She was 44. A graduate of Jefferson High School and Rock Valley College, she was employed at Aetna Insurance and Wells Engberg Company before becoming a "stay at home" mom and Scout leader and running her own cake business, "Cakes by Lisa" while living in Illinois. She was united in marriage to John W. Montana Aug. 6, 1988 and the mother of two children. Survivors are one son Michael W. MONTANA and Kendra Jones of Corning; daughter Samantha MONTANA and Tim GASKINS of the home; granddaughter Madison Paige MONTANA, Corning; parents William and Katie Betty BILLINGS, Piggott; mother-in-law Barbara MONTANA, Rockford, IL; best friend since kindergarten Rhonda HENRY, Rockford, IL; and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband (March 29, 2001); father-in-law Sam MONTANA; maternal grandparents Claude and Thelma PARKS-BILLINGS; paternal grandparents Lewis and Genevieve WHITE BARKER; and great grandparents Alfed and Sarah E. GRIBBLE BARKER. Funeral services were conducted Sat. July 26, 2008 in the chapel of HOGGARD and Sons, Piggott, with Allen VAUGHN officiating. Burial in New Hope Cemetery, Pollard. PHILLIPS, a resident of McDougal, was born March 31, 1927 in McDougal, son of the late Daniel Edward and Pearl BIRCHETTE PHILLIPS. He died at his home Wed. July 30, 2008. He was 81. Survivors are his children, Daniel of Utah and April of Milan, TX; 4 stepchildren, Roger, John, Mark and David; one brother, Bill (Dagne) PHILLIPS, Garfield; and many other relatives and friends. DONNA ROOFE Donna ROOFE, Corning, was born in Piggott Aug. 9, 1951, daughter of Harold Arlon and Ercell Madgeline VOWELL SPICER. She died in St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center, Jonesboro, Sat. August 2, 2008. She was 56. A cashier for Wallace and Owens Supermarket, she attended Corning "Y" Pentecostal Church of God. A graduate of Corning High School Class of 1969, on May 5, 1991 she married Doyld ROOFE and he survives. Other survivors are one son John Howard DAY, Peach Orchard; mother Ercell SPICER; brother Rick SPICER; two stepsons, Jeremy ROOFE and Chris ROOFE both of Corning; one stepdaughter Lea LANDRETH, Biggers; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard A. SPICER. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008 in Ermert Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Owen LITTLE officiating. Burial in Woodland Heights, Rector. T.H. SCHIMMING T.H. SCHIMMING was born in Peach Orchard, March 17, 1923 son of Richard Emil and Agnes Ruth CLEVELAND SCHIMMING. He died in St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center, Jonesboro Monday, Aug. 4, 2008. He was 85. An Army veteran of World War II and retired farmer, he was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed card playing, fishing and hunting. In Knobel, Oct. 5, 1940 he married his wife Beatrice who died Nov. 11, 1978. Survivors are one son, Rodney (Judy) SCHIMMING, Peach Orchard; two sisters Doris CLARK, Corning and Bonnie HARPER, Granite City, IL; two grandsons Richard and Wade SCHIMMING; three great-grandchildren Maddie, Jacob and Audrey SCHIMMING. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Carl SCHIMMING and sister Marie BARGER. Funeral services will be conducted Thurs. Aug. 7 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of ERMERT Funeral Home with Rev. Charles ABANATHY officiating. Burial in Brownie Cemetery in Peach Orchard.
