| The Mottsville
Cemetery is an historic cemetery in the Carson
Valley. It is located on the original site of the town of Mottsville, which was founded by Hiram and Israel Mott in the 1850s. The cemetery was started when the infant child of Israel Mott died and was buried in the yard. The cemetery now contains many pioneer settlers, as well as lifelong Valley residents from the 20th century. |
