Benjamin, John, Jr., and William were the three proven sons of John Sutton (ca. 1730-bef. 1773),
first of the Sutton line to migrate from Bertie County, NC to the Bucklesberry Pocosin of
Old Dobbs (now Lenoir) County in the La Grange, NC area.
