Elbert BRADY and Mary "Polly" S. HOKE were married on 16 Jul 1840 in Lincoln (Catawba) County, North Carolina. Mary "Polly" S. HOKE (daughter of Fredrick A. HOKE Sr. and Catherine SMITH) was born on 21 May 1819 in Lincoln (Catawba) County, North Carolina. She died on 22 May 1887 in Catawba County, North Carolina and was buried at St. John's (row 18, 7th north). Her stone reads: "A loving wife, a mother dear, A faithful friend lies buried here" - aged 67 yr, 11 mo, 28 d". Elbert BRADY and Mary "Polly" S. HOKE had the following children:
