I am looking for any information regarding Daniel C. Spiller and Martha Hill. They had a son named William Elijah, he was born February 2, 1849 in Missouri. William later married Narcissus Caroline Sterns, she was the daughter of George and Lucinda Sterns. William and Narcissus moved to Fulton County Arkansas and that is where they both died and are buried in the Shiloh Cemetery northeast of Salem, Arkansas. They had a son named James Oscar, he was my Great Grandfather. He married Jessie Fair on June 7, 1896 and they had my Grandmother, Winnie Catherine.

I am seeking information on Lorenzo Dow Barnes who may have been born in Missouri. The 1910 Ohio census records for his sons Elmer and Ora indicate he was born in Missouri. The 1900 Ohio census records on Lorenzo state he was born in Ohio in January 1849. Which is state is correct? Can not find Lorenzo and family prior to 1900.

Joe Gray was acquainted with Leona Pearl Miller Botts and was a frequent visitor to the Botts household in Sacramento CA ca 1930s. Joe GRAY courted Leona's dau, Christine Florence Botts and they had a child in July 1936/Sacramento CA, Judith Lee Gray. Joe was said to have been a trucker between Sacramento and Los Angeles areas. I am trying to find the birthplace, etc. of my great-grandmother Martha Jane Howe Wright Pettigrew. Her father came from Ky. She was b: Mar. 6, 1845,Mo., d: Dec. 19, 1914, Olathe, Ks. Her first marriage was to B.F. or Benjamin Franklin Wright, he/his family came from Illinois. He was in the 11th Regt Missouri Vol.Cav., Sergeant Co. C. No more known on him. Martha's parents were William Howe and Nancy Simpson, Ky. His parents were Edward Howe and Barbery, Ky. Hers may have been Samuel Simpson and Franky? Also from Ky. Martha later turned up in Olathe, Ks. Wher she married William George Pettigrew. Martha had 12 siblings, some born in KY.

Amzie married 2nd Lorinda Mae Galloway b 20 May 1874 in Mi ca 1893 they had one child Bertha b 1893 in Mo. By 1900 they were in Fannin county TX. My question is; Is there an 1880 census index for MO? If so would some kind soul ascertain if there are any Cransons in the state of MO at that time. I don't have a clue as to what county to look in?

I have been searching for a Missouri town called Lawndale and every search leads to a deadend. I have a very old postcard that was mailed to my great grandmother, Sara Dunegan Durham (husband Alfred). The postmark date is obliterated, but it had to be around 1910. It was addressed to Mrs. A. T. Durham at Lawndale, Mo. I'm trying to trace their parents, birthplaces and wedding date, and need to be able to place them in Lawndale at a specific time.

Trying to locate my Grand father's county of birth. Death Certificate for him, Elbert Washington Martin, lists Missouri, August 14, 1896 as the place of birth. Father was George Martin, birthplace, Missouri, Mother Thula Hembrie, birthplace Oklahoma. Would appreciate a county listing if availible for Elbert Martin or if possible a county of death for George Martin where I may file for the requisite death/birth certificates. I have been searching for information about my grandfather's family.... His name is Elbert Frederick Blankenship, but his birth certificate may have said Ulysses (the doctor was drunk). His father was Albert Harrison Blankenship, and his mother was Ada Bell Bious. Albert's father was Pleasant C. Blankenship and his mother was Mandy Riggs (these would have been my grandfather's grandparents). My grandfather's siblings were Lonnie Carl, Lottie May, and Lucille. I also have a list of names of my grandfather's uncles and aunts if that helps.

My mother was the 15th of 18 children born to Alva Eugene Jones and Ruby Mae Jones. Ruby was born to John Henry Jones and Katie Mae Odom. Her siblings include : Horace, Lewis, and Marie. Marie married "Woody" Harrison and had 11 or 12 children. John divorced Katie and remarried another woman whose name I don't know and had several more children. The only name I have of this second family is one grandchild: Dan Threlkell (sp? he is a meteorologist). Alva was born to Talma Jones and Martha Baines, I only know that he came from Missouri, previously I thought Tennessee, but have discovered otherwise. His siblings include, but are not limited to : Talma, Jr., Elsie, Tessa, or Tressa, and 2 or 3 other brothers. Alva's nickname was "Deacon". Any help is greatly appreciated. Alva was b) Oct. 2, 1898, d) July 1969.

Seeking info on Thomas Jefferson Stover, born 12-1-1863 in Williamson Co, Ill. Later lived in MO, site unknown. Married Alice Lee Wiggs, place unknown. Later lived in OK. Alice was the daughter of John Henry Wiggs, and Mary Frances Burch Wiggs,, born 1884 in TX. Parents of Thomas were Joseph F Stover and Sarah Onley Stover. It is believed that Joseph died 1875-1879 in Williamson Co, Ill. and that Sarah remarried and moved to MO.

Looking for any information on James Martin Whitaker, b. 1848 (in NC?), died 1921, and/or Sarah Ann Baker, b. 1850(in MO, I think), d. 1911. He evidently was in Missouri during the Civil War with a MO unit. James and Sarah were married in MO. but I don't know where, probably about 1868 or 69 because their first child Robert Columbus was born in 1870. According to a cousin this was somewhere around the Springfield area.One of their children was my grandfather: John Harrison Whitaker, born 1886. He at some point moved to Texas because my father was born there in 1908.I'd love to know more about them or hear from other descendents.
