My great great-grandfather, Carroll Bradley came from Scotland or
Ireland in the 1850's and settled in Missouri. He married Emma Baldwin
from Iowa in the 1870's . It is nor known where he died, but it is assumed
to be somewhere in Missouri. They had two children: Martha a.k.a. Mattie
Bradley (Born: March 21, 1873 in Missouri) and Carrie Bradley (Born: 1876
in Missouri). Martha married James "Valentine" Taylor about 1887 in Kansas
(Wyandotte County). Martha and James moved from Missouri to Washington.
The 1900 US Census finds them in King County, Yisler Precinct.

My great, great-grandmother Emma Baldwin was born on February 21,
1854 in Missouri. Emma's mother first name was Maryann, but her last name
is unknown. Her father was Frank Baldwin. He was possibly born in Missouri
or Ohio. Emma married Carroll Bradley about 1870's. Carroll was from Ireland
or Scotland. Emma gave birth to Martha on March 21, 1873 and Carrie in
1876 in Missouri. Emma moved from Missouri to Seattle, Washington (King
County) between 1890-1900. She moved there with her two daughters: Martha
Bradley Taylor, Carrie Bradley, and her son-in-law, James "Valentine" Taylor.
She died in Seattle (King County), Washington on June 28, 1919.

Missouri. She had a sister, Carrie Bradley. Carrie's born 1876 in Missouri.
Martha married James "Valentine" Taylor about 1887 in Kansas (Wyandotte
County). Martha and James moved from Kansas to Washington about 1898. The
1900 US Census finds them in King County, Yisler Precinct. Martha's mother's
maiden name was Emma Baldwin from Iowa. Her father, Carroll Bradley, was
from Ireland or Scotland and settled in Missouri. She died in Stockton,
California August 14, 1951.

I am looking for information about my great-grandfather, James "Valentine"
Taylor. He was born on February 9, 1859 in Illinois. He may have worked
for Armour Packing Company in Chicago, Illinois in the 1870's. He married
Martha Bradley. Martha's mother maiden name was Baldwin, Emma. Martha was
born in Missouri on March 21, 1873. They were married about 1887 in Kansas
(Wyandotte County). They eventually moved from Missouri to Seattle, Washington
between 1887-1890's. The 1900 US Census finds them in King County, Yisler
Precinct. He died in Seattle, Washington on November 13, 1915. He had 8
children: Thomas, Gwendolyn, Beatrice, Millie, Cicle, George, James, and
William Taylor.

on Sept. 30, 1859. She married Charles Beehman Williams. I don't know her
mother's or father's names, but it is said that her father or grandfather
was a Supreme Court Judge in St. Joseph, Missouri. I have much info re
her descendents to share.

Verden, born July 20, 1822 in Missouri; died September 7, 1885 in Moreland,
Arkansas. Wife was Lucinda Butler, born about 1833 in Tennessee. Have information
on him and his descendants to exchange.

My gggrandfather, James Franklin Sutton (b. 1828 TN) left Marshall
County, Tennessee in 1852, stopped for a few years in Southwest Missouri,
and finally settled in Randolph County, Arkansas in the mid 1850's. When
he left Tennessee, his father had just died and his mother was already
dead. I think that some of his brothers and sisters left with him, but
none of them made it to Randolph County, AR. Known names of his siblings
are Martha b. 1832 TN, George b. 1834 TN, Mary b. 1837 TN, William b. 1840
TN and Henry F. b. 1842 TN. Will share information and appreciate any in
return.

Roberts, born 1847 in MO; Robert R. Roberts born ca 1854 in MO; John W.
Roberts born ca 1863 in MO; Alexander H. Roberts born ca 1850 in MO; Elizabeth
Roberts ?? When James Edward Roberts died in 1929 in Chico, Butte Co.,
CA his obit listed his siblings in the following locations: A. H. Roberts
of Pasadena, CA; George Roberts of OK; and one sister Eliza Ann of AK (no
surname of Eliza) James E. Roberts married Sarah A. Angelo in Morgan Co.,
IL. James and Sarah are both buried in the Chico, Butte Co., CA cemetery.
Would like to hear from anyone who has information on this family.

Kissiah Frances Dickson dau of Thomas Dickson and Sarah Fowler. Children
of Martin and Kisiah were R C born 1876 Tn died when?? and possibly Ms
md 1892 J H Ritter; Arthur Calvnis b 1878 MO....where in MO d 1958 Tn md
1900 Memra LaVina Bassham . Evidently Martin died aprox. age 25 and baby
son Arthur was 13 months of age. What was cause of death. Was married only
5 years. Thnx. for any help.

I need help in solving a mystery concerning a brother to my ggg-grandmother.
Alfred Benedict, b. 9 July 1826, lived in Michigan with his family. One
son, "Genie," d. 1862 and his wife Dorcas d. May 1864; they both are buried
in Berrien Co. MI. His other children were: Alfred Romaine, b. 25 Nov.
1853; Frances Adelia, b. 9 Oct. 1855; Flora Ellen, b. 6 Oct. 1858; Alma
Alice, b. 24 Jan. 1864. According to our records, Alfred (the father) was
"killed by a bushwhacker in Missouri, 20 June 1866, on account of his union
sentiments." We do not know where he is buried, or what became of the surviving
children. If you have come across any information connected to this incident
or this family, I would appreciate hearing from you.

I am searching for the parents/siblings of Benjamin Valentine, b.
ca 1835 in MO. According to the 1880 Tarrant Co., TX census, his father
was from IL and mother from KY. (Names unknown) Benjamin's wife, Martha
J. (maiden name and parent info unknown) was b. ca 1839 in MO. Listed on
the 1880 census are the following children: Ellen J. (b. 1868), John E.
(b. 1871), Annie Mae (b. 1873, my gr-grandmother), and Allice J. (b. 1876).
This info would indicate that Benjamin and Martha were married ca 1860's,
probably in MO. All children were born in TX, which means the family had
to be in TX prior to 1868. On the same census page, there were two other
Valentine families listed: Richard Valentine (b. ca 1837, MO) with family
and Harris E. Valentine (b. ca 1855, MO) with family. Their relationship
to Benjamin Valentine is unknown. It is believed that Benjamin Valentine
served in the Civil War and that his death was ca 1906, TX. No records
have been located to support either claim.

somewhere in Missouri between 1878-83. They probably married in MO abt
1878. Cynthia died shortly after the birth of my grandmother, Sarah Jane
Yates in 1881. John W Yates died of TB in 1883. They are
buried somewhere in MO. Would like to locate their graves.

Am researching the Craig family of Bath County, Kentucky and
ran across some ancestors who lived in Missouri (counties unknown) that
were children of Jonathan & Mary/Polly Craig Markland of Bath
County, Kentucky. These children of Jonathan & Mary (or Polly) Craig
Markland that were living in Missouri in September, 1896 were--(1)
Elizabeth/Lizzie Markland (who was born abt.1843 married an Adams--first
name unknown); (2) Samuel Craig Markland (born abt.1855); and (3)
Garrett H. Markland (born March 1, 1858). The possible spouses of
both Samuel Craig & Garrett H. Markland are unknown.

the Denningtons moved to TX because their next 3 children were born

and died 21 Feb 1939 in Rockcastle Co,KY. For his parents, "DEAD" is all
there is. Who were his parents,what is his given name, and did they all
move to Rockcastle Co,KY or was he the only one? Did he have siblings?
This is a mystery in a family that is dwindling rapidly in numbers. Any

was Patience Garner, do not know father's name. She married James
Monroe Hinkle, but they were divorced in 1924. She died in 1927
and is buried in Joplin. Any info appreciated. I have not been able to
find them in the 1880 census (Soundex)

Perry Verner Baker was born 1883 in Arkansas, married Fannie
E. Joyce in Arkansas, had at least one child,George Wesley, in Arkansas,
had a total of seven children, four sons were still living when Verner
died. Verner & Fannie lived in Missouri and died there. The obituary
does not list children's names but says that two of them lived in Missouri.
