Virginia Ann Riggs (1839 Meigs cty, OH - 1902 MI) married Jesse
Bunker (1859 IA). Their children were: Ada, Forest, Torrence (my ancester),
Orah and Marium. Virginia was the daughter of William Roby Riggs (who supposedly
died in 1849 in the "gold rush") and Lavinia Burriss or Burns (circa 1808
OH - 1887 MI). In Virginia's obituary it was stated she lived in Missouri;
Iowa county, Wisconsin; Galena, Illinois; Ohio and then moved to Iowa.

in the 1870 U.S. Census .. Webster City, Hamilton County..Iowa. He was
44 years old ...and said he was born in Missouri...but didn't say where.
That would make his year of birth around 1826.

I am looking for information on my grandfather, his name was Will
or William Draper. I think he was probably born between 1850-1870 ?? I
was told he was from Missouri also his family. He had I think 1 sister.
I do not know his father's name or anything else. He died in 1918. So far
the only record I have is the marriage cert. He married in Alabama in 1912
my grandma, but he died prior to my mother being born in 1919. he was about
48 then. So far i have found nothing. I also know he was previosly married
and had a son Albert or Alfred Draper and I think his other wife and children
died.

Louisiana, George is listed as have been born abt 1830 in Missouri. He
seems to have been in LA by 1850, married Elmire Hartman there, had at
least 4 children, all baptized 1865 in LA. The 1880 LA census lists his
father (no name given) as being from Missouri.

Lucy's parents were Thomas F. Warden and Eliza Owens,m. 1-30-1860 and from
Missouri. Thomas F. Warden's parents were James B. Warden and Jemima Nobles.
Eliza Owens' parents were Clayton Owens and Mary A ?. Thomas F. Warden
had brothers, Franklin,b.1828 and James,b. 1837. Jemima Nobles was born
in 1806 and had a brother Drury, b. 1810. All of these families lived in
Missouri, except for Lucy and P.J. Etheridge. Can anyone help me with these
people? I don't know which counties to look in. I thought that the counties
which are next to TN might be a good place to look.

Captain George W. Smith was called the "Medicine Man" because that
is what he did - he sold medicine all over Missouri and Kansas and Colorado.
He was born in Rockford, Illinois in 1858 and he married a Francis "Frank"
and lived in Missouri around 1900 or so. His sister was my g. grandmother,
Virginia Jennie Smith Sargent.

Weatherford abt 1874 she was born in TN. Their children were born in TX
first child was born April 18, 1875 her name was Elizabeth Ellen (Sister)
Green born in Waxahachie, TX/Ellis County. He and his family show up on
the 1900 Census in TX in Johnson, County. In this census it shows that
Robert Green was born in MO and his parents from MO. But cannot find out
any other information.

I am looking for the families of Henry F. Howard and Lucinda Bowling.
Henry was b. in 1808 in Ireland. According to an old newspaper article,
he was brought to the U.S. at 3 months of age. Lucinda was b. 1814 in Ky.
or Va. Henry and Lucinda m. 11 March 1836 in Mo. They had 7 children named
Nancy Elizabeth, Margaret M., Joseph T., Mary A., Lucinda Ann, Dorothy
J., and Henry Monroe. Henry is said to have been in the Civil War on the
Union side. He d. on 27 September 1872 in Mo. Lucinda probably d. in Ark.
where she was living with one of her married children. The couple was my
husband's gggg grand- parents.

do not know what part of Mo. they lived in, but by 1900, wife and children
were back in In. and she was listed as widow. Could he be buried in Mo?

1820 in MO. He Married a Mary Brown Cooper (who had also been married to
a Preston Cooper). Mary was probably born in 1813 in MO, and was probably
married to Preston Cooper in order to hide her Cherokee ancestry. Joseph
and Mary Hutton had a daughter name Melissa Jane Hutton born 2/13/1849

I am searching for information on the Walker, Gann and Boucher families.
I am a descendent of John Walker and Matilda Gann who were married in Livingston
County in 1837. I am also a great-granddaughter of Smana Catherine Gann,
parents unknown. She was listed in the 1900 census in Chillicothe as being
born in MO in 1872. She was living with my grandmother, aged 6, Eva Clema
Gann. As far as I know, Smana was never married and died between 1900 and
1907.

I am researching the Skinner and Rogers name. Russell Rogers was
11, and a brother Oliver, was 9 when the 1860 census was taken. They were
living with their aunt whose husband was Dr. Frazier. She was a Skinner.
Not much is known in my family about the Rogers and Skinners and hopefully,
someone has some data on them. My great grandmother Cinderalla Human Rogers
married Russell Rogers. Cinderella's father was William Carroll Human and
his father, James Gundy Human, was the founder of Humansville. I recently
became a member of the Norhtern Cherokee Indian Tribe in Clinton, MO after
establishing a connection to my Cherokee Indian Grandmother, who was James
Gundy Human's mother.

1880 Census in Coryell Co. TX as having been born in Missouri. Both William's
parents are listed has having been born in Missouri. Salina's parents father
was born in TN and mother in KY. William's age was 35 and Salina's was
32. William's occupation was farmer. Any help locating these individual's
in Missouri is appreciated.

Between the years 1800-1840 it is believed that John Edwards,the
first US senator from Kentucky wrote out a trust for his wife and children
in Bourbon County, Kentucky and left for Missouri. There is some mystery
about his death. The family would like for the story to be that he died
on his estate and is buried with his family, but the rumor persists that
he actually died in Missouri, never having return to his wife and children.
Supposedly, there is a will that mentions him by the name John Edwards,
Senator. I am interested in anything that has to do with his activites
in Missouri and especially any data that pertains to that mysterious will
and burial site.

Marthay Lucinda Pugh lists her place of birth as MO (County Unknown)
in the 1900/10 Census. She lists her parents as born in TN, but have no
idea who her parents are at this time. I do know that she married John
H. Stone, CSA vet about 1880 and probably in Arkansas by that time. The
children of Marthay Lucinda and John H. Stone according to census records
were: Mattie A. b July 1882, James Bedford b Mar 1884, Maggie B. b Nov
1890, Lorene A. b Jan 1895, Louis and Luceal (twins) b Sept 1898. I hope
that the 1860 census will list Marthay Lucinda, however, there are so many
in the index, I don't know where to begin. I would appreciate any info,
if even just to eliminate one or more of the Pughs in the census!
