Mr Abe Lindsey, living a mile and a half east of town, rejoices over the arrival of a fine boy at his house. It's birthday was the 21st inst. [January 29, 1881 Saturday]
Mr J. Swartz is happy and it is a girl. It arrived last Friday evening.
Mr G.W. Bebee, of Ross township, Taylor county, rejoices in the arrival of a son, born on Saturday last.
Mr George Kieth, who lives about two miles south of town, welcomed the arrival of a fine boy at his house last week.
Mr Robert Davidson, who resides in Buchanan township, Page county, Iowa, and who has many friends here, became the happy father of a bouncing boy baby, his first, on last Sunday evening. Robert went out next morning to attend to the stock, and as he was knocking things around lively in a lordly sort of way, he could be over heard now and then exclaiming to the cattle, "Heigh! stand over! Get out of Papa's way!"
Mr William McGrath, on the 15th inst., became the happy father of an eight pound boy.

We smoked an excellent cigar with James Moran, Esq., on Thursday morning, his generous heart being opened wider than ever by the arrival at his residence of a bright boy of standard weight.
Since Tuesday morning Mr Frank McLothlan rejoices over the arrival of a fine boy weighing ten pounds and a half. Happy Frank!
An eight pound boy is the latest arrival at the residence of Mr Thomas Lord. Sunday last was its birthday.
