Her mother was at the Crittendon Family Home for Unwed Mothers in Missouri and the doctor who delivered Dorothy is Dr. A. Wall. Dorothy's mother was born between 1930 and 1940.

I am looking for Michael Daily. In the book "Missouri Birth and Death Records", there is a reference to a Michael Daily who died in Clay county in 1871. The notice of his death appeared in the newspaper, Liberty Tribune, dated March 10, 1871. Is there anyone who would be able to find this notice and e-mail me exactly what it says? I am hoping this is him as I haven't found much on him. Thanks.

Looking for information on GREENBERRY LEWIS b. Aug.25 1833 in KY.
Married Martha (?). They had two daughters 1) Martha Elizabeth b. March
16, 1866 in Lathrop MO. and 2) Minnie Lewis. Both sisters married BASIL
MATTOX b. April 24, 1866 in Missouri City,MO ? in Clay Co. . Basil d.
1923 in MO and is said to be buried in Mount Moriah Cemetery. His #1
wife was Martha.married Oct. 3, 1886 in Lathrop MO. after her death (in
child birth) he married her sister Minnie. It is told that their father
did not like Basil. Each of the daughters are said to be burried near
each other under their maiden names of LEWIS in the "Deer Creek
Cemetery" near Turney MO. I have only limited information on this like
of my family. I would appriciate any help on any of these names. I do
not see a trip north in the near future and would love some long
distance help. Thank YOu.

I have been doing a great deal of research on my fathers history. Recently I found a clipping from the Levenworth Newspaper in 1903 which stated that my fathers grandfather was born in Clay County in 1843. How would I find additional information. As with the Hedges family, small clues can take you a great distance. Thank you if you can help.

Wesley E P Moore, b 1818 and d 9/10/1870. Was married 11/18/1841 to Jemina Evelina Munkers, b 11/15/1825. She is buried on the Charles McKee farm. Wesley's Father, Joel Moore, was executor at his death and didn't die until 1876. I am looking for a birth record, marriage, or census for Joel. Born possibly late 1700's beings son Wesley was born in 1818.

I am looking for information on a Waters family originally from Kentucky
via Indiana. Mary Waters b c 1849 m Martin Mullinix, a man several years her senior, in
Putnam Co., IN. The rest of the Waters family moved on to Clay Co, MO
without saying goodbye - they were not happy with the marriage. Mary and Martin travelled to Clay Co. c 1873 to settle her mother's estate. Believe her name was Harriet Waters but have been unable to locate information by mail in court records. Mary died c 1875 at the age of 26. Had three children, Johnny (drowned at the age of 7), Lillie m. Ferrand, and Etta (my great-grandmother) who married Lewis Ikamire. I am dead-ended on this line with Mary. Does anyone know anything about this Waters family.

d. 1902 MO. He first married on Feb 27, 1844 to Eliza TILLERY in Clay County, MO he was about 14 years old. I would like to know if there were any children to this marriage. They were only married about 5 years because his next marriage was to a 26 year old woman Elizabeth Rupe on Dec 31, 1849 in Atchison Co. MO and he was 19 yrs. old. His third and final marriage was Aug 2, 1854 Atchison Co. MO to Martha Thompson she was 16 yrs old and he was 24 yrs. old. Anyone knowingly related to this HOFFMAN/TILLERY family please contact me.

I would love any information on the William H. Mitchell family of Clay
and Platte County, MO. My Great Great Grandmother was Georgeanna
Winifred Mitchell. She was born 1853 in MO. and Married JOhn Andrew
Stillwagon. She is listed in the 1870 Census with John Andrew
Stillwagon, Living with her is her brother James Mitchell and an Ann
Davis. James was 19 and Georgeanna was 17. They are in the Parkville
Township at that time. Georgeanna was called Winnie by her family and
she also had a brother named Levi. Any help would be great!

My grandmother, Julia Frances Walker was born 4/6/1868 in Clinton
County. Her ancestors (Capps, Tiptons, Trotters and Walkers are buried
at Crooked River and Deer Creek Cemeteries in Clinton County). She
married James Otis Barclay in Liberty, Clay County, Missouri on
4/19/1885. 2 of their 9 children were born in Clinton County - Girney
Agnes Barclay - 2/27/1886 and Maggie May Barclay 6/4/1888. Later moved
to Washington state. Her parents were John Walker and Sarah Catherine
(Capps) Walker owned land there about 1868. I have pictures of old
farmhouse/slave quarters taken by family members about 30 years ago. I
understand the buildings have been torn down. Supposedly they lived
near a settlement called Roosterville. Does anyone have any information on
my ancestors including land, church, cemetery records and Civil War
records?

I am searching for any records anyone may have on Roscoe Burdell Thomas. In his mother's obituary he is listed as a survivor, "R. B. Thomas, of Kansas City".
His mother, Elizabeth Ann Nottingham (Thomas) died on 16 Jan. 1922, in Mercer county, Ohio. His father was George W. Thomas, born in Washington county, MD in 1830, died in Mercer county, Ohio on 4 June, 1905. Roscoe was born in Mercer county, Ohio on 9 Feb. 1862. I have no marriage or death records. He had two brothers, Hugh Cabot Thomas and Jonas M. Thomas and two sisters, Minnie Bernice and Winnie, who died in infancy. All members of his immediate family died in Mercer county, Ohio.
