We have a wonderful son whose birth was registered in Olmsted County in Minnesota. He was born May 21, 1972 and has a one and a half year old son of his own now and another one on the way. He and his wife live out- of-state but contacted Lutheran Services before the birth of their first son. They were told they needed money to find out medical information from his birth parents. anybody have any information? They did not have the money at that time (or now) because they had just graduated from college.

SULLIVAN, HUNT

I am lookingfor the SULLIVAN and HUNT families: Laura Frances Sullivan (b. Oct. 22, 1844 in Dayton, OH) married Wilbur Harvey Hunt on Jan 8, 1867. They lived in Ashtebula county, Ohio; upon her death in 1868 she left a son, Charles Colman Hunt. He was cared for by relatives in Ohio until his father died in 1873. Then he was sent to his mother's family in Rochester, MN. Laura Sullivan's parents were Absalom Colman SULLIVAN (b. Mar. 17, 1817) and Charlotte Hotchkiss SULLIVAN (b. July 2, 1815). Absalom died Feb. 4, 1884, Charlotte died May 30, 1881, both in Rochester, MN. A family photo album shows a "C.C.Sullivan" (Rochester photography studio) for whom Charles Colman Hunt was named. Who is this C.C. Sullivan? Who were Absalom's parents? Did Absalom have other children with him in MN?>

GUNNERUD

Looking for mother of Elling O. GUNNERUD b. 15 Nov 1869 Rock Dell, Olmstead, MN and Martin GUNNERUD b. 17 Jul 1874. Father of these children was Ole E. GUNNERUD. Mother died bef. 1879, I think there were other children, may have died at same time--diptheria??

Ole Gunnerud was found in Rock Dell Twp under the name Ellingson (his middle name) along with wife Aase (Bottolson/Bottelson). Children's birth records, Aase's death record, cemetary inscription and her parents names were located.

STOPPEL, CONRAD

I am searching the descendants of Franz Joseph Stoppel and George Stoppel II in and around Olmsted County.

Looking for the descendants of the five children of Karl Conrad and Karoline Stoppel (4 Aug 1851-29 Apr 1957). They are Oliver, Oscar, Othmar, Lilly & Ella CONRAD. All help is appreciated.

Horace married Catherine Roberts (b. 1815 NY) and raised most of his family in Potsdam, St. Lawrence Co, NY . Children were Allen (b. 1832), William H. (b. 1834) , Margaret (b. 1836 m. a Dickison), Sarah J (m Albert Thompson), Aaron or Loren (b. 1843), Elizabeth (m Ezekial Rose), Emmaline (b. Sept 1846 m. Henry Brown), Loretta (b. 1849 m. Myron Palmer), Martha A. (b. 1854 Wisc). Note Wm H. Smith was a blacksmith in Chatfield and Fillmore. SMITH's are a super challenge but perhaps we can help each other? WESTOVER

I am looking for any information on the surname Westover. The 1960 census places them in Olmsted county in Zombro, post office Waterloo. First names I am especially interesed in are Calvin and Rebecca. Can you help?

some - Calvin and other Westovers were found in Sherman Twp in 1865 (Zumbro was first name, then Sherman, then Haverhill. Anyone know anything further? Found obits for Calvin, Job and Orrin Westover, also some marriage records.
