Greenwood Twp. Cemetery is located on Winston Road south west of Hesperia, down a two track road. It will also be referred to on older death certificates as Cushman Cemetery or Cushman Burial Grounds. Information received June 2013: The man who owned the land dug a hole and pushed most of the gravestones in the hole and covered them up. There is one stone laying on the ground and a flag at another grave site that doesn't have a stone. Updated information received June 2013: Greenwood Twp. Cemetery was formerly Cushman burial grounds. This is the cemetery where they bulldozed the headstones into a hole and covered them up. Mr. Tom Deater said they are going to dig them up and put them back. He said they have all of the records at the township hall.
