Tombstone Photographs

Old Catholic Cemetery WAS located in Section 26 of Marquette Township, SW corner of Pioneer Road and County Road 553, Marquette. The headstones of the Old Catholic Cemetery are located in the northeast corner of Holy Cross Cemetery; next to the fence near Industrial Parkway. The sexton at Holy Cross states (6/3/2010) that all that there is at the Pioneer road site is a name sign and that all headstones have been relocated to Holy Cross. Walter Sands

Per Duane Hargis in June 2005: The cemetery is located at the southwest corner of Pioneer Rd & County Rd 553 in Marquette, Marquette County, MI. Due to extensive vandalism, the cemetery was closed and the surviving tombstones moved to the northeast corner of Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery located at 1415 Wright St in Marquette, Marquette County, MI.
