Ionia County Infirmary (Poor House) Cemetery
Berlin Township, Ionia County

Tombstone Photographs

The Ionia County Infirmary (Poor House) Cemetery is located on Riverside Road in Berlin Township three miles west of Ionia.

At the time of burials the graves were marked with wooden crosses which have long since disappeared.  The cemetery area is merely marked with a post at each corner with  a permanent marker at the front.  The cemetery was started there in 1907 when the Poor House was built to replace the building the County lost by fire in Ronald Township.  Any burials from the old Ronald Township Cemetery are not listed here.
