The Carrier Cemetery is located at Narrow Lake in Brookfield Township, Eaton Co., MI.

Comment from Larry Randall:

Recently people from the Duck Lake area Genealogy group have been cleaning the burial grounds. Interest in this project started when some of our regular attendees told of having ancestors interred there. Our group had already been involved in the care of nearby Clarence township's cemeteries. new signs, Repaired gateways and cleaning fence rows.

Last fall (2005) a new sign was built and an area cleaned for it's placement. Permission was obtained from the land owner, and in January '06, The work crew started cutting the old dead trees, triming the remaining ones and cutting and raking the ground where the Carrier and Tichenor stones are located. Among the workers there was a Carrier, A direct descendant of Amos.

The work is not complete, We still have to reset the Carrier stone back upright on to it's base.
