I came down to school our teacher is James Smith of Lewiston. I stay at Mr. Wilders.

Corise is better this morning last night C. went after the Dr from time he started out of the house till he got there was just 22 minutes

I am going to a dramatic entertainment tonight with H. Carr. I went had a splendid time.

It snowed this morning. Henry has been up here today. I wish we had a sleigh so we could go to church.

Mr Carr wants Charley and I to stay all night Tuesday so he and his wife can go to Rangley

I am down to Mr Carrs with the children. Mrs Shepherd is up round tonight

The first day of school I have eight scholars. It is awful smoky today.

At last another day has passed. Oh! Dear I am so tired, and it is so hot and smokey

Charley was up here this PM. Mama has been sick. It rained this morning.

I have got along much as usual. The smoke has cleared away so I can see some.

I have got home mama is pretty sick. The committee was in today

I have got back to Mrs Devenports. H brought me up. Mama is sick and I am homesick.

Went to Mr Barkers. Only six scholars. Mr Davenport has got a man to work for him. That make me awful ------------------

Seven scholars today. Imos school commenced yesterday. It is rainy

I am in school. I have just rung the bell. I am waiting for the first class to look over their reading lessons.

I have got along very well today. I have got two scholars that I think would as leif lie as not

I have got home. Henry B. came after me Charley has gone to Rangeley

Henry brought me up to Mr Davenports. Imo was over to the house a little while today

It is fearfully hot today. I have only five scholars this afternoon. Six this forenoon

What a funny fourth. I left school all day. We went up to Mrs Barkers tonight

When were coming home we stopped at the millayany. I got some seal brown clothe for me a dress

The scholars have almost killed me today. Have had twelve scholars today.

It has been a nasty wet day. The scholars have acted awfully.
