The 1840 Talbot County, Maryland, Census contains 114 pages (census
images), numbered 01 (title page), then 02A through 61B.
On the microfilm, there are two unnumbered pages following page 29B, and
these were assigned the page numbers 29C and 29D.
The following pages were not copied from the microfilm, as they are blank:
15A, 15B, 17B, 18A, 33A, 33B, 35A, 35B, and 51A.

The name of each image file is the page number. (In the case of 1880, 1900, 1910,
and 1920 census, the file name includes both the Enumeration District and the
page number.)

Page numbers for specific county subdivisions are as follows:
District no. 1: 02A-16B
District no. 2: 19A-34B
District no. 3 (Trappe District): 37A-50B
District no. 4 (Chappel District): 52A-61B
