St. Thomas Catholic Church Cemetery

Also known as New Windsor Catholic Cemetery
New Windsor, Carroll Co., MD
Between Rt. 109 and 111 Springdale Avenue

The last deed listed is from 1867…then owned by the Roman Catholic Archbishop. It was purchased on 19 December, 1996 by Joan V. Bradford, who is also owner of the adjacent property at 111 Springdale Avenue. The lot is now listed as "County and State Cemetery (Church). It is 21,257 square feet.

All markers had been removed in 1930's. Only 3 stones are know to have been found…they are near site. One of them is just a footstone. A row of trees have been planted by the neighbor, possibly overtop of the cemetery. There are probably a few more individuals buried here but research has proven most or all documentation has been lost/destroyed.
