Gueydan City Hall

Gueydan's City Hall, located on Main Street between Sixth and Seventh Streets, was built in 1936. The City Park surrounding it was named Douglas Park in honor of Mayor A.O. Douglas, the mayor who oversaw its construction. Originally it housed the town's library as well as local government offices.
