This photograph of two young women from the region east of Farmerville along the Ward's Chapel Road was sent by family members to New Mexico, where Matthew Addison Scarborough took his children in 1921 in an attempt to seek relief for his children suffering from tuberculosis. Matthew's family saved the photographs, but these women were not identified on the back.
