Young White, born 1851, Union Parish, Louisiana to California (Callie) Hendricks, born 1855,
Union Parish, Louisiana. Her parents were Martin Hendricks and Nancy Jane Raley.
I do not have a confirmed record of his parents.
Young and Callie were married March 23, 1873. It was recorded on March 27th.

 

Young is listed on the 1860-1880 Union Parish Census records. He is shown as living with a woman, Eliza White, age 40 of Alabama on the 1860, no relationship mentioned; as a farm hand of some sort on the farm of a Noland in 1870; and finally as a cooper with his wife and children in 1880. He died sometime between August and December of 1883 just months before his youngest daughter Hattie Young White was born. I have not been able to find Callie after that point.

I have a record of Martin Hendricks and Nancy Jane Raley's marriage also. It took place in 1844 in Union Parish. I am having a difficult time getting it to scan legibly though.
