Woody King Millard Filmore Smith (26 Apr 1857 – 26 June 1933) was born in Bradley County Arkansas, the son of Hansford Willis Smith and Martha A. Davis. He was a Primitive Baptist preacher, ordained at Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church in 1882 at the age of twenty-five. Elder Smith worked as a minister for the next fifty years. He belonged to Good Hope Church on the Arkansas/Louisiana line until about 1895, when he moved to Spearsville and moved his membership to the New Hope Church there. Woody K.
