John Thomas Rockett (1 Nov 1874 – 20 Aug 1969) was the son of Thomas Martin Rockett (15 July 1849 – 19 Nov 1893) and
Julia Conner West (Nov 1851 – 1933) of Spearsville, Union Parish Louisiana. On 26 November 1898, John T. Rockett married
Viola Futch (16 Dec 1878 – 22 July 1972), daughter of John Jefferson Futch (17 Aug 1847 – 10 June 1923) and
Sallie Jane Futch (14 Sept 1849 – 19 Nov 1922).
This is a photograph of John and Viola Rockett and six of their twelve children. The baby in the photograph is James Urban Rockett,
born 20 September 1909. Judging from his appearance, this photograph was taken very late in the year 1909 or early 1910.
