William Kilgore Pryor [Bill] (26 Aug 1849 – 14 Feb 1922) was the son of William Stokes Pryor (15 Nov 1811 – 2 Feb 1898) and Talitha C. Kilgore (15 Apr 1823 – 27 Aug 1869). The Pryors lived near Selma, in Dallas County Alabama when Bill was born, but they moved to Spearsville, in Union Parish Louisiana in the 1860s. Bill married Rosetta Trammell (1850 – 1901), the daughter of Tyre Boone Trammell (20 Jan 1813 – 17 Aug 1874) and Mary Ann Jacobs (6 Sept 1823 – 1870s). After Rosetta's death, Bill Pryor remarried to Sarah Elizabeth Barron (23 July 1867 – 15 Sept 1947), the daughter of James Daniel Barron (9 June 1828 – 12 May 1912) and Martha Jane Cherry (12 July 1838 – 22 Dec 1904). Bill farmed near Spearsville for his adult life. He was buried beside Rosetta in the Zion Hill Cemetery a short distance southeast of Spearsville.
