This picture said to have been made at a Christmas dinner in the W.A. Odom yard. Thought to
have possibly been made in December, 1910. Photograph made by John Adcock, Bernice, Louisiana.

Contributor note: William Allen Odom was the son of Jesse and Mary Ann Jones Odom. His father
was Michael Wellington Odom of Barnwell, SC. Jesse and three of his brothers (John, Pinckney,
and Benjamin Wellington) came to Union Parish in the 1830's and 40's. Jesse, Pinckney, and
Benjamin Wellington settled in the Zion Hill community. Jesse and Benjamin Wellington are buried
at Zion Hill, Pinckney is buried in the old Farmerville cemetery, and John is buried in Nocona,
TX. This photo includes all of the W.A. Odom family and spouses of those married; one daughter,
Ela Eura had died. The rest are cousins.

Lou Ella Odom and George Futch, Suzanna Odom and William Pearson, Ava Odom and Oscar Popwell,

Note that husbands and wives are not together in the picture except for W.A. and Francis.
