Nomie Hudson
early 1900s
Nomie Hudson (7 July 1881 – 16 June 1918) was the daughter of John Thomas Hudson and Susannah Jane Goyne. She was born in eastern Union Parish near Farmerville and lived there her entire life. She died of what her doctor throught was typhoid fever, but as her death occurred in 1918, the year of the worst-known influenza epidemic that killed millions of young people worldwide, it is also likely that she died of the flu.
