Hosea Woodford Breazeal (29 Aug 1857 – 6 Sept 1936) and his brother Elijah Willingham Breazeal (23 June 1860 – 7 July 1937) were sons of Hosea Bright Breazeal and Sarah Elizabeth Mayfield. Woodford was born on his father's farm near Bear Creek, in southeastern Tuscaloosa County Alabama, while Elijah was born after the family moved to southern Union County Arkansas. After the war, the Breazeals moved a few miles south, settled several miles north of Spearsville. Woodford and Elijah were buried with their parents and many siblings in the Spearsville Cemetery.
