Calvin & "Jeannie" Barrett. They were the parents of 15 children. The first 6
were born in Georgia, the other 9 in Union Parish. His brothers
Tillman & John Barrett also reared their children in Union Parish. They
chose Union Parish because their maternal uncle, Tillman Porter, lived in Union Parish.
