Bill Jinks' Cotton Gin near Spearsville




This is a photograph of Spearsville's first cotton gin. It was built and first operated by William L. [Bill] Jinks, but owned by Lum Henderson. He sold it to Solomon Joshua Berry Abbett, who in turn sold it to Joshua Lambert, who sold it to G. E. Lindsey on 27 May 1927.
