A MEMORIAL TO CONCORD CHURCH
ORGANIZED 1842, AND THE PASTORS
WHO HAVE SERVED IT. THE FIRST
PASTOR, S. J. LARKIN, SERVED FROM
1842-1854. A. J. CALLOWAY SERVED
IN THE LATE 1880'S. IN 1888, THE
MEMBERS OF CONCORD CHURCH
WERE HELPFUL IN ORGANIZING THE
MARION BAPTIST CHURCH. CONCORD
CHURCH WAS HOST TO THE
CONCORD ASSOCIATION MEETING
IN 1851, 1855, 1876 AND TO THE
EVERETT ASSOCIATION, NOW CALLED
UNION PARISH ASSOCIATION, IN
1915,1932, 1951.
