The following pictures give the family information recorded in the Family Bible of Duncan D. Dawkins. He lived near present-day Truxno, in northern Union Parish Louisiana. He held a prominent position in Union Parish politics during and after the War Between the States. In addition, several of his descendents served as the judge of the district court that included Union Parish.
