Beloved husband of 36 years to Debra Upshaw. He is survived by three of his children, Melanie Upshaw Baze and her husband David, John Paul Upshaw and his wife Tara, Brian Matthew Upshaw and his wife Dawn and was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Patrick Upshaw. Pat was born in Metairie to Marie Goolsby Upshaw and the late Raleigh White Upshaw. He attended John Curtis High School and The University of New Orleans. Pat is a 35 year resident of Bush. He is the brother of Stephen N. Upshaw and the late Michael L. Upshaw. Also survived by eleven grandchildren with three on the way. Pat was loved by many dear friends. He enjoyed spending his days working with his children and playing with his grandkids. Pat founded Royalty Information Systems, Inc., a business he operated with his children. He will be missed dearly by his family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, January 29, 2011at 10:00 AM with visitation on Friday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until service time.
